Kristi Williamson

Kristi Williamson is a dynamic and embodied yoga teacher as well as devotional musician. She has taught for the past decade throughout the east coast including Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the United Nations in New York City. Her passion for yoga, dance, ritual theater and movement based expressive-arts therapy, promote a holistic ethic that is alive in her teaching. She holds four yoga certifications, and has trained in sacred dance lineages including with Sujatta Mohapatra of Oddisi dance from India, Rosangela Silvestre of Orrisha Dance from Brazil and somatic movement therapy with dance pioneers Daria and Anna Halprin at Tamalpa Institute. She studies and teaches with Kundalini yoga master, Hari Kirin Kaur Khalsa, author of the germinal book “Art and Yoga” and has taught with author Thomas Moore. Her disciplined but compassionate teaching style inspires students to awaken their intuitive body wisdom and their connection to soul.
