RETREAT TO BE HELD ON THE LAND!
This retreat will be smaller in size and will be held in “parallel” to another retreat. It will be held in the West Hall of the Community Meditation Center.

Description:
Open to: Experienced practitioners only

Prerequisite: Completion of at least one 5-night (6-day) silent residential Insight Meditation retreat and at least two years of Insight Meditation practice. Important note: previous retreats do not have to be through Spirit Rock.

This retreat will be small and intimate, introducing and guiding you through a step-by-step practice called the Arriving Sequence. This practice includes arriving in the present moment, aligning with our deepest values and aspirations within the Dharma, and becoming ever more available to the felt sense in the present moment. This practical yet mysterious practice brings forth a way of being related to the present moment that provides inspiration, groundedness, and perspective, and empowers walking the Dharma path.

The primary teaching method will be multiple daily detailed guided meditations, supporting you to be with your direct experience as we go through the steps. If you’re new to this practice, please listen to a guided meditation before signing up for this retreat.

This retreat will include optional gentle daily yoga sessions to support unwinding, ease, and coming home to the body.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Scholarship offerings: All scholarship rates require a minimum fee ($55/night). Scholarships are limited to TWO per calendar year for on-land retreats. And, while we are not able to offer “pay what you can”-type of scholarships for in-person retreats, they are still available for online offerings as space allows.

Room Occupancy*: We have double and single occupancy rooms. Many of our rooms are single occupancy. We offer a “guaranteed single room” rate and these will be limited. This rate guarantees a single room while helping to support scholarships and all we do here at Spirit Rock. The remaining single rooms are not exclusive to the top end of the sliding scale; however, they are initially prioritized for those with serious medical needs.

*Subject to change depending upon COVID-19 situation.

IMPORTANT – Details on our current COVID Safety Protocols for In-person Retreats.
