Description: Anxiety has many root causes ranging from the psychological to the physiological to the historical. No matter the origin, the distress and discomfort are palpable and understandable.
This workshop will explore a variety of ways to approach, meet and be with anxiety as it presents in the body – along with a cultivation of kind understanding about the mental and emotional challenges it presents.
We will practice meditation, while seated, walking, standing and lying down. There will be periods of delicate breathing and somatic practices to soothe the nervous system and invite periods of peace in the mind and heart.
