Sliding Scale: $75 – 200. Code GD1D18.
As white people, it can be challenging to recognize our biases, prejudices, and privilege. Engaging in this practice may push our comfort boundaries, as we awaken together in this way.
We all long for connection, and live in a society that constructs and perpetuates systems that divide and separate us. In Buddhism, differences and identities are often minimized in the noble endeavor to lessen the focus on the self.
We will explore how to both navigate and utilize our white privilege skillfully through guided meditation, discussion, and reflection, and experience a new freedom of expression unobstructed by constructions of identities around whiteness.
Open to all those who self-identify as white people.
Young Adults (18-26) and Seniors (65+ with limited income) are invited to attend this day for $45.
