Description:
The Buddhist path is often described as a journey of both relinquishment and cultivation. We practice freeing ourselves from clinging, and cultivating qualities that support us in this liberating process of letting go.

The seven factors of awakening—mindfulness, investigation, energy, joy, tranquility, concentration, and equanimity—are psychological qualities we can develop, as well as practices to be cultivated. When fully developed, they support us in embodying a life and way of being that is full of understanding and love. In this weekend retreat, we will explore these qualities of heart and discover how they can help guide us along the path to freedom.
