Date: 3 Days: Monday, March 26 – Wednesday, March 28, 10:00am – 4:30pm
Cost: Sliding Scale $225 – 600. Code AD1M18.
Prerequisite: For self-identified women 60 years of age and over.
Grounded in the practices and teachings of insight meditation, we will explore and give voice to transformative moments in our life journey and gain perspective and deeper trust in how our wisdom unfolds. As we review our lives, we may be surprised to find that what appeared as a disaster was instead divine disruption, awakening new perception and new potential. As we give voice to these new perceptions we are claiming the value and truth of what we have understood. This deepens over time as we learn to trust our ability to articulate the truth of our experience.
Together, we will follow the lead of the revered Indian “mother” Ammachi who said, “When women lose touch with their real selves, the harmony of the world ceases . . . . It is therefore crucial that every woman, everywhere, make every effort to re-discover her fundamental nature, for only then can we save this world.”
No previous writing experience is necessary. Bring a journal and pen. Some experience with mindfulness practice is recommended.
Seniors (65+ with limited income) are invited to attend this 3-Day Non-Residential Retreat for $135.
