In this traditional Insight Meditation (Vipassana) daylong, the emphasis is on quieting the mind and opening the heart. By cultivating a calm mind and a kind heart towards ourselves and others, we learn to live with loving awareness. And we develop a more easeful relationship with life, regardless of our circumstances.

Instructions will be given for both sitting and walking meditation. Lively discourse on the Dharma will be provided throughout the day, with time for questions and discussion.

Young Adults (18-26) and Seniors (65+ with limited income) are invited to attend this day for $55.

CARPOOLING is always requested, and due to the large number of people expected at this event, cars with less than 3 people will be asked to pay a $10 non-carpooling fee. Bring more if you can! Spirit Rock only charges this fee for events that will be very full as we have pledged to help keep traffic down on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and we have limited onsite parking.
