Sliding Scale: $75 – 200. Code JB4D18.
5.5 CE credits available for $55 for psychologists and California licensed MFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, and LPCCs.
The Buddha emphasized the importance of wise relationship in the world including Right Speech and Right Action as two links of the Eightfold Path. Relationships can be complicated, especially with those closest to us. A rich expression of our practice is learning to authentically communicate what is both truthful and useful—the hard stuff as well as our loving connection.
The day will include periods of experiential exercises, talks, discussions and guided meditations. We’ll explore various elements of wise relationship: forgiveness, appreciation, loving-kindness vs. attachment, and sympathetic joy, in order to deepen our connection with others in our lives.
Teachings are appropriate for health care professionals as well as the general public. Health care professionals will be able to incorporate the tools and practices offered in this program in ways beneficial to clients or patients. Continuing Education (CE) credit available. See below for attendance requirements and more information.
