This is a special time of year for the support and solitude of retreat. As the days grow shorter, we are beckoned inwards. Supported by the silence and shared intentions of our fellow practitioners, we discover the heart’s longing for peace. Together, we sit in the refuge provided by a 2600-year legacy of wisdom and kindness. The teachers will offer systematic instructions in insight (vipassana) meditation, and reflections on the development of compassion. The Buddhist teachings mix with your wholesome intentions to create goodness. The cooks generously prepare a beautiful meal as we practice remembrance and gratitude. Both new and experienced meditators are welcome.
