In the second foundation of mindfulness the Buddha taught the practice of the Vedanas or feeling tones as a way to liberation. During this day of practice we want to explore how we can apply these teachings to chronic physical pain.

Pain gets our attention like nothing else but it often obliterates any sensations of pleasant or neutral (neither pleasant nor unpleasant) in it’s wake. But it’s exactly the conscious practice with all three that opens the door to more ease, calm and balance.

This is a day of silent stationary and movement meditation, of interactive practice, of periods of individual and of small group reflections.

All are welcome! No one will be turned away for lack of funds as space allows. For more information, please email
