Online Only: We are now offering this program online only, via Zoom, so you may join us remotely. Once registered, you will receive instructions and a Zoom link. We invite you to try this creative form of practice as we navigate the unfolding of the Coronavirus situation. We are continuing to respond by evolving our practices and policies to keep everyone safe and supported, while still serving as a place of refuge and honoring our community’s commitment to the Dharma and sangha.
ALL TEENS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND BEYOND ARE WELCOME. (14-19 years old)
Learn meditation, relax deeply, speak your truth and develop your mind — all while hanging out with other great people your age. Through the practices of mindfulness and Insight Meditation, we take the time to reconnect to ourselves in order to experience more peace, wisdom and compassion.
Classes will include movement, community building games, meditation instruction and council — a practice of witnessing the group’s collective wisdom. The final class will include a potluck celebration and a half-day of practice among the trees on Spirit Rock land. During the class, parents are welcome to read, meditate and connect with each other in the Spirit Rock bookstore and foyer.
Registration limit: 25 teens per class. Pre-registration recommended, as this series often fills.
A limited number of scholarships are available. For scholarship inquiries, please contact our Events Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteer opportunities are available for parents during the series. If interested, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at email@example.com or 415 488-0164 x224.
